Our story
From the makers of the online game Baddie.
In our online game Baddie we saw something special happen: players got to know each other and real friendships blossomed. At the same time, we kept hearing how hard it is to make new friends outside of a game. So Erwin, Leah and Stefan, together with our Keeping up with Leah community, are building an app that makes it easy.
In Baddie we watched new friendships blossom inside the game. Everyone deserves that, not just gamers. That's why we're building Bestie.

Is Bestie a dating app?
No. Bestie is for women who want to make new friends. You swipe through women near you, and when you match you can chat and meet up. Dating isn't part of it.
Who can join?
Women aged 18 and over. You do a quick selfie check when you sign up, so everyone on Bestie is who she says she is.
How does matching work?
You see profiles of women near you. Swipe right if you'd like to get to know her, left to move on. If you both swipe right, it's a match and you can message each other.
What does Bestie cost?
Bestie is free. Bestie Premium shows you who already liked you, gives you unlimited swipes and adds extra filters.
When is Bestie launching?
We start with an Amsterdam beta in 2027, and the rest of the Netherlands follows in 2028. Bestie is coming to iPhone and Android and as a web app. Join the waitlist and you will be the first to know.
Is Bestie available in English?
Yes. The app and the website are available in English and Dutch. Perfect if you're an expat or international living in the Netherlands.
Are there men on Bestie?
Only as a gay bestie, and only when invited by a woman who's already on Bestie. You'll only see them if you switch it on in your filters.
How safe is Bestie?
Everyone is verified with a selfie. Your location only shows your area and distance, never your address. You can report or block someone in one tap, and every report is reviewed by a real person.
